Q: Who are eligible to apply for this job in Union Bank of India ?
A: Candidates must either have passed XII std(HSC exam) OR must have passed Degree from any recognized university.(final yr students are not eligible to apply)
Q: Do I need a computer course certificate to become eligible for application?
A: YES.A certificate in Computer Awareness and Office Automation Course is necessary from a computer training institute.Candidates who had computer science as subject in degree level are not required to submit certificate.
Q: How to choose the exam centre for written examination ?
A: The recruitment of 1040 clerks will be on state-wise basis.ie.Candidates will be appointed based on the number of vacancies in each state.So candidates must choose only one state for appointment & the written exam has to be attended ,from that selected state centre only.original post @ www.bankexamsindia.com
Q: Is there negative marks in the objective written test?
A: YES.There is negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer
Q: When is the written exam & when will I receive the hall –tickets ?
A: The written exam(objective) is scheduled on Jan 10,2010.The hall tickets/call letters would be dispatched to the candidates on or before January 2nd 2010.
